This feed monitors Police and Fire on the Topaz Regional Wireless System; an 800 megahertz APCO P25 digital trunked radio system. The cities of Mesa and Apache Junction, the towns of Gilbert and Queen Creek, and the Apache Junction Fire District share the Topaz Regional Wireless System.
This audio feed is received using a PSR-600 connected to a 20 dB Yagi, pointed at the Greenfield/Germann simulcast site, and is mounted at 48' AGL in east Mesa. Priority is set to Mesa Fireground channel 2. Most serious incidents in the cities listed above are mitigated using this talk-group.
