This will monitor an Amateur radio repeater that is called an Liaison Repeater for the Chicagoland National Weather Service and is the primary system used for Northeast Illinois weather reports between the spotters and the NWS. This includes but is not limited to Boone, Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, Will and Winnebago counties in Northeast Illinois. This will be subject to normal Ham Radio conversation during calm weather however this system becomes very active during severe weather.
