06/21/2015: Hardware failure outage(s). Laptop would not recover from re-boot. CPU cooling fan failed, warmer temps caused system to crash. Temporarily added a laptop cooler underneath until a more permanent fix can be put in place. Connection to Broadcastify was restored 4:12 pm CDT; audio input to laptop was still not working; restored 5:24 pm CDT. System crashed again at 6:04 pm. Disk drive maintenance and software restore. Back up and apparently stable by 8:22 pm CDT.
11/22/2014: Changed audio feed broadcast software to RadioFeed v2.8 for a trial period. ScannerCast was just not handling the metadata Alpha Tags very well on my system. I invite listener feedback regarding alpha tags and audio quality.
11/10/2014: Added Talk Group 10734, Edina, Golden Valley and Richfield PD Dispatch. Thanks to the listener and the admin for pointing this out to me.

07/07/2012: Converted Additional Feed Details information to HTML table format; added HTML hotlinks to corresponding jurisdictions. Please note that the links do not necessarily correspond to the talkgroup or channel. For example, (Pct. 1) has nothing to do with Minneapolis Police Channel 1, the link simply directs to the First Precinct. The precincts and fire stations were simply placed in order and any information in parenthesis may not correspond to or have any relationship to the channel.
07/05/2012: Added battery back-up standby power for modem, router, radio and laptop. Predicted operation time on battery is approximately 2 hours.
04/27/2012: Added Hennepin County North and East dispatch talkgroups.
04/04/2012: Resolved MPD 4th Pct. audio feed problems. Thanks to those who pointed out the issue.
03/20/2012: Removed City of St. Paul coverage from audio feed. Already well covered by others and tended to overcrowd during busy times.
03/07/2012: First online at 23:01:58 CST. Using a Radio Shack Pro 197 scanner, Radio Shack "Discone" roof top antenna, Dell laptop, ScannerCast software and a 7 Mbps DSL line provided by CenturyLink (CTL). Dynamic IP will change periodically. When CTL resets my IP address, the live audio feed might go down for about 5 minutes until everything reconnects.
