Jacksonville Fire/Rescue has migrated over to a new radio system with encryption. Currently they are working the bugs out and are reportedly in the clear. However I would have to purchase a high-dollar scanner to listen. My luck I would, then two seconds later they would permanatly switch on the encryption thus making my scanner a pricey paperweight. Something I don't relish.  But as long as they simulcast on 460.575 you can still hear something.

You will only hear the dispatching of calls on this feed. However, when an incident escalates and more units are requested typically additional dispatches will occur.. Sometimes newer dispatchers forget this but it is rare. There are some resources available online that can be used to determine certain aspects of calls.
