is an active volunteer EMS service serving the Orthodox (פֿרום) Jewish Communities in New York City Metro Area and North East New Jersey.
The word Hatzolah, Hatzalah, Hatzoloh etc… in Hebrew translates to "Rescue" or “Relief” in English.
Covering Chevera Hatzalah EMS of New York City its 16 chapters in the 5 boros, Nassau County, and the Catskills area of Orange, Sullivan and Ulster Counties and Hatzalah of Rockland County and
Hatzalah of New Square.
Plus in North East New Jersey the three (3) chapters Hatzalah EMS of Passaic Clifton (Passaic County),
Hatzalah EMS of Union City (Hudson County) and Hatzalah EMS of Union County (Elizabeth – Hillside).

During Shabbat and High Holy Days there may be little or no radio traffic and long periods of no activity on this feed.

FEED’S GOAL AND TYPE OF ACTIVITY MONITORED
The primary goal of this audio feed is to be used as a supplemental resource especially for Hatzalah members, their families and their respective communities to monitor their particular chapter of Hatzalah, especially by the internet and /or smart phone. This feed is my humble support for the Hatzalah oganization here in the NY/NNJ metro area.
The Central Hatzalah New York City chapter with its 16 local divisions throughout the 5 Boros , the Five Towns, Yonkers and including the Catskills region is by far the busiest Hatzalah chapter followed then by the Rockland County Hatzalah chapter, New York, then the three chapters in Northern New Jersey. Passaic-Clifton, Union City (Hudson County) and Union County (Elizabeth)

This feed is provided as a public service (and as a mitzvah to the Frum Jewish Community) free of charge. I do not solicit, nor do I receive any donations, monetary funds from any person, company or organization to support this feed.
OFF LINE If you discover this feed has gone OFF LINE it may be for a number of reasons. I am notified automatically by Broadcastify when the feed goes OFF LINE. Normally, I will handle the issue as soon possible unless the problem is beyond my control.
There is no power back up for this feed, so in the event of a power outage this feed will be OFF LINE until power is restored. The same is true for Internet connectivity.
This feed will go OFF LINE at times (usually during an overnight period but can happen at any time!) when Windows does a software update and restarts the feed computer. Also this Feed will go OFF LINE at times for routine computer maintenance, hardware and soft ware upgrades. Therefore, please don’t e-mail me unless the feed has been OFF LINE for more than twelve (12) hours! Please be patient. Thank You.
The scanner receiver located about 7 miles West of Manhattan in Passaic, NJ. The Antenna is generic antenna about 100 Feet above sea level, Scanner is Uniden 396T
I am using updated verison of ProScan Feed software for supplying audio and Alpha Tags to Broadcastify. Computer is a Dell B110 tower with Optimum as an ISP.
