Feed Notes

My feed is using a Uniden BCD396T with an small 800Mhz stubby antennat, in a 4 story building in alameda.

It feeds into a Dell Optiplex GX280 Desktop into a line in port from the microphone jack on the handheld scanner.

I am able to now remotely log in to the computer from anywhere on the internet and "unlock" or enable/disable programmed scanner banks.

I have line of sight to the Oakland Police Broadway Antenna array.

I am currently using a Clearwire USB modem for backhaul.

This new backhaul method is experimental and may become permanent if the feed holds steady.
